Questions

Pump track FAQ

How much room does a backyard pump track need?

A small loop fits in roughly 40 by 60 feet. Bigger figure-eights and multi-line tracks need more. We'll measure and sketch options on the site walk.

Dirt or paved?

Most backyard tracks are built from compacted dirt with a hard-packed surface. Dirt is affordable and easy to reshape, but it needs upkeep after storms. Paved tracks cost more up front and need very little care. We'll help you pick.

Who designs it?

Design is done by THCMTB, a Hill Country trail design and events company. TX Trailcraft builds it.

Can you maintain it?

Yes. Dirt tracks stay fast with a Care Plan: after-storm repairs, re-packing and surface touch-ups.

Let's sketch your track.

Tell us about the yard and the riders. We'll walk it and send a layout and price.
