Clearing that ends as a trail, a road or a view.
Senderos, selective cedar mulching and view corridors for ranches, lake lots and estates. We don't just knock brush down. We leave a lane that drains, a road that holds and ground that stays put.
Lanes through the cedar, built to last.
A sendero that runs straight downhill becomes a ditch after one spring. We follow the land, mulch the brush in place and add water bars where the lane drops, so it's still a clean lane next season.
- 12–16 ft lanes, mulched in place
- Sight lines for blinds and feeders
- Water bars and rolling dips on slopes
- Optional walking or UTV trail surface
Per foot
Brush density and rock set the rate.
Ranch scale
About 1.5–2 acres of lane per mile.

View corridors
Open the lake or hill view you bought the place for while keeping screening and oaks.
Homesite & trail prep
Clear and rough-grade for paths, pads and pump tracks, with mulch left to protect the slope.
Ranch road repair
Water bars, rolling dips, culverts and rock armoring for roads that wash out every storm.

We bring the breaker.
Hill Country clearing usually hits limestone or granite within inches. Our crew runs excavators with hydraulic breakers and has years of rock excavation behind it through Daponte Construction, so a ledge in the way of your road or sendero doesn't stop the job.
- Rock breaking and ledge removal
- Stacked limestone saved for armoring and walls
- Excavation for culverts, swales and pads

Clearing FAQ
What is a sendero?
A sendero is a cleared lane through brush, usually 12 to 16 feet wide, used for hunting sight lines, ranch access, walking and fire breaks. We mulch the brush in place and crown or water-bar the lane where it slopes so it doesn't turn into a gully.
Can clearing help my wildlife valuation?
Brush management and erosion control are among the practices Texas recognizes for wildlife-management valuation. Talk with your wildlife biologist or appraisal district about your plan; we'll build the work to match it and document it with photos.
Do you clear everything?
No. Most of our clearing is selective: cedar out, oaks and good habitat kept. We leave mulch on the ground because it protects thin Hill Country soil from washing away.
Do you charge by the acre or by the day?
Either. Defined projects get an acre or per-foot price. Open-ended work gets our mulcher day rate.
